From Texas we flew up to Colorado to spend the week with my family. Ryan took time off work to come home, and my Granny and Granddaddy were there too so we had a full house and lots of fun times. Addie had her own "room" in the form of a tent that was set up off the downstairs living room. She thought that was pretty cool and soon started requesting that we close her door, i.e. zip up the tent while she slept.

Having playmates around all day was Addie's idea of a good time. She helped PaPa water the plants and walk the puppies each day, and GG was always game for Addie's wild ideas of fun. Any chance she got, Addie convinced PaPa to take her for a ride on the golf cart. Ryan was a good sport and even played dolls and sang songs with his niece; he balanced things out by having Ayden watch some football with him .

In true Powell tradition, food was a big part of our visit and boy did we stuff ourselves with some wonderful meals. Thanks mom and dad for your excellent hospitality. We miss you dearly! And thanks G&G for loving on the kids and putting up with all our craziness! It was so good to see you again.
