Some friends of ours dropped by a bucket of freshly picked berries last night. Thanks J&J! So this morning Addie and I made lots of strawberry freezer jam. Yummy! This is my fourth summer to mix up our own jam. Jim, Addie & I are seriously addicted. In fact, I think we may qualify as homemade jam SNOBS. Our fridge has long ago been purged of all store bought jam. Plus last month when we finished off the final jar of last year's jam, we panicked and headed to the farmer's market to buy someone else's homemade jam to tide us over. Thankfully we are once again stocked up. Our freezer is JAM-packed! I think homemade biscuits and some crepes with jam and whipped cream are in order.
