Family & Friends,

It was March since we last offically updated you, so we thought it would be a good time to share what’s been going on. This summer was full of travel and work in the office. Not to mention a ton of fun watching our little girl grow up!

In May we made a trip home to Lubbock and Fort Morgan to visit our home church and supporters as well as friends and family. It turns out that Addison was the main attraction everywhere we went...I can’t imagine why! It was great to see many of you and connect back up. Hearing how the Lord is at work in your lives is such an encouragement for us. During this time Jim also flew over to Pennsylvania to help teach a GoodSeed seminar to over 40 missionaries serving both in North America and overseas.

From the month of June until the present, Jim has continued to push the GoodSeed website ahead and is making great headway. He plans to launch it early in 2008. We would ask you to continue your prayers for Him as the project contains hundreds of parts that must all work together. Nonetheless he is very encouraged with the progress.

In July Addie and I traveled to Texas for my friend Cari’s wedding while Jim spent a week working down in GoodSeed’s Idaho office. At the end of the month my father Rick came up for a visit and helped us add an outdoor deck to the back of our house. Now we have a place to visit and spend time outside, at least when weather permits. We appreciated dad’s help so much and Addie loved spending time with her Papa.

In August we had the opportunity to fly down to Roswell New Mexico and attend a wedding for a close friend. As many of you may know, Jim has really taken to photography, so his buddy Scott wanted him to do the photography for his wedding. We had a blast, but must admit that the 101 degree weather took us by surprise. Guess we kinda just acclimated to the cooler temperatures.

September has already proven to be a busy month. We have several new staff arriving soon and are currently adding to the second floor to accommodate them. It should be quite an improved working environment when it's complete, allowing for a more open and collaborative space for the creative team. In addition to the website, Jim has a couple of teaching opportunities coming up. We will let you know how the studies are going in our next newsletter.
