Our Silent Night
comment icon0 Comments
(taken with our nifty night cam)

In honor of GG's birthday today and in anticipation of Uncle Ryan's visit next week, Addison decided to sleep through the night for the first time! Of course, the group phone call last night from Daddy Mac, Nonnie, Grandmother, Nan, Brent, and Erin must have spurred her on as well. Anyways, I fed her at 10 pm, and then Jim changed her and put her down for the night. We finally woke her up at 7 am since it is best not to go more than 9 hours or so between feedings when you are nursing.

Oh how exciting, our little girl is growing up! Though I have only been getting up once a night with her for the past 6 weeks or so, full nights of sleep in 2007 sound awesome!

I was expecting this any day now. I went and had Addison weighed on Thursday which was her 12 week mark, and she was an ounce short of 12 lbs. It seems as though these little ones are more likely to sleep though the night once they are at least 11 lbs (so I've heard).

Way to go Addie!!!...keep it up please.
