Here I am playing catch up. This photo was taken last week on the 13th. Our Itty Bitty has grown quite a bit over the past month, evidenced by this shot compared with her one month photo. Her cute little face has really filled out! Her 2 month checkup revealed that she's currently in the 50th percentile for both height and weight, registering on the scale at 11 lbs. Long gone are my days of worrying about Emryn putting on some chubs!
Our days with this little gal have been so enjoyable. She is full of smiles (like these amazing ones we captured on Valentine's Day). She has also started to jabber and coo a lot more. I think it's safe to say that she's a very pleasant baby. Only a few things (like nasal spray) get her riled up. And then as soon as you're done messing with her she's back to her happy self once again.
We all often call her Em or Ems, but Ayden has affectionately nicknamed her Emsy Whimsy ~ cute! Addison and Ayden spend a good deal of time loving on her. Emryn loves the attention that they shower her with but is also content to just watch and listen to them from afar. A&A can be quite entertaining ~ a definite perk of having older siblings.
As for her sleeping habits, I can't complain. She consistently gives me 7 to 9 hour stretches at night and sticks pretty close to a predictable 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hour schedule during the day which I'm thankful for.

For those of you who haven't yet met Emryn or perhaps haven't seen her lately, here is a glimpse of her sweetness...

Ironically, right after I posted the top picture I realized AJ was lounging on the playroom couch using my old iPhone to play Connect the Dots. He was concentrating so much that I don't think he even realized I snapped his pic. He looked so sweet that I had to capture it.
Anyway, I thought I'd add his photo to my original post and quickly share a few links to some great phone apps for kiddos. If you're looking for some good ones check out this list of apps for babies and this list of top iPhone apps for kids.
FUNNY STORY ~ When I told A&A that I didn't have an iPhone to play on when I was a kid or even a computer for that matter, they looked at me in disbelief. After a moment of contemplation AJ asked, "Did you have toys or ANYTHING???" I told him of course I had toys just no iPhone. He replied with sympathy in his voice, "I bet that was a bad day." Oh brother!
The McCulleys
Married in 2000, we are proud parents of Addison, Ayden & Emryn. Originally from Texas, we moved to Canada for five years of mission service and have now made Denver our home.
When JD isn't hanging out with his awesome family, he keeps busy with nerdy web stuff and photography. Les feels privileged to be a stay at home mom ~ a very rewarding & entertaining way to spend each day!
