29 Things to Do Before I'm 30 (Aug 09)

Spend more time outside
Make a Boston Cream Pie
Order the Taste Book I've been working on
Plan a real family vacation for 2010
Take the time to let JD finally teach me how to use his camera
Go on a fancy date with my hubby - the kind wear I get to wear my favorite black dress
Take the kids to Radium Hot Springs in BC
Get a pedicure
Buy a new comforter and sheets (thanks mom!)
Find some creative new things to do with Jim's photography
Pick up fresh flowers every few months
Make a super dooper looking snowman
Perfect a homemade enchilada recipe
See Addie go down the slide at the park
Read, read, read...to learn, to relax, to teach the kids
Purchase the waffle iron JD has been telling me to go ahead and get forever
Finish up the work in the basement
Be able to listen to Addie say her ABCs
Take the kids to the Calgary Zoo
See Ayden sit up and hear his first words
Go on a picnic in the mountains
Have some friends from the US come for a visit (anyone game?)
Sleep in past 8 am at least once
Go to sleep by 8 pm at last once
Try 5 new foods
Attend my first Canadian wedding
Give 3 friends a gift for no reason
Have my 3rd kiddo. Just kidding!! Just wondering if you read this far!
The most important one of all - spend more time with the Lord

Sounds like some great ideas! Maybe I should do that. Of course I only have 5 days before I am 30 so I don't think I can get much done…

Nice list! I couldn't help but notice that a number of those things deal with kids, food, and photography, all of which I like a lot…AND all of which go together very nicely. I hope you're able to accomplish your goals.

By the way, Suz and I would be glad to help you taste-test the enchiladas, waffles, and Boston cream pie. I've added those three things to my "Before I Turn…AHEM…30" list.

P.S. #28 could happen! God's got a good sense of humor.

Great list! I especially enjoyed number 28! 3 under 3 would be an adventure! I can't wait to hear Addy's ABC's either. She's impressive. I fully expect to hear the Periodic Table from her soon at the rate she's learning.
