Maybe spoiled is an understatement! Rick and Glenda have been staying with us the past few weeks and I can't even begin to tell you the HUGE help they have been to Leslie and I. Have I mentioned that this is our FIRST baby and every experience has been a FIRST. For you veteran parents out there you know the experiences I'm talking about...we've seen things we have never even imagined..hehe! But we wouldn't have it any other way! Powell-style turkey dinner! During Rick & Glenda's stay we ate like kings. This yummy turkey was prepared for Canadian Thanksgiving. After all, Addison is the first real Canadian in the family!	Chef Rick's Breakfast Beignets - New Orleans style (Pronounced ben-YAY). Beignets, a New Orleans specialty, are fried, raised pieces of yeast dough, usually 2 inches square. After being fried, they are sprinkled with sugar. It is like a sweet doughnut, but the beignet is square shaped and without a hole.
