Addison is one of those kids that looks forward to her birthday all year long. In fact, she's been planning & talking of her 4th birthday party for at least 6 months now. This year we told her that in addition to her extended family, she could invite four friends and their families since she would be 4. So after months of eager anticipation, you can imagine her disappointment when we had to un-invite all her friends once she came down with a virus two days before the party ~ how sad! But that being said, it was a good chance to teach her about trusting God in ALL things and not looking for material things, events or people to supply our joy which can only be found in Christ.

Though the fever came back later that afternoon, the morning of her party she felt great and without a doubt had a fantastic time with our families. We thank God for Addie and are constantly amazed as we watch her developing into a sweet, expressive & beautiful young girl.
