This past week was a LONG one around here. AJ had three days of fever followed by Addie who is now going on four days. Unfortunately, this is the second time in the recent weeks that the kids have had a virus. Such is life with munchkins though. And hopefully Addie will be her bright and vibrant self again soon.

Due to the fever, we had to cancel a play date with friends not once but twice. By Friday the kids were starting to feel a little stir crazy and AJ, especially, was ready for some action. So was I.

Enter: the Blow Fish.

I had seen a fun idea for a blow fish toy at Made By Joel so we printed out his template for two fish and got busy decorating them. A&A love coloring; they'll do it for hours if we let them. After they prettified their little fishies, we got to work building a zip line across the house using string, straws, and tape. Then the blowing and much needed action began!
