When JD shot a wedding in the mountains near Breckenridge last month, the kids and I decided to join him for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed exploring that area of Colorado. Hands down though, Addison & Ayden were most thrilled about the Frisco Bay Marina.

We bought them some shovels and buckets from the local Walmart and watched them get to work along the shores of Dillon Reservoir. After several hours of play, they had sand not only between their toes but in their ears and hair as well.

Not quite the same as a day at the beach but a pretty good deal considering we were surrounded by the beautiful Colorado Rockies!
