Here are a few things that made today a great day:

• A very enjoyable brunch with my good friend Esther. A cinnamon roll and lemonade followed by a delicious roast beef panini (yes I had dessert first). What a treat!
• Listening to my daughter say "dada, dada" as we drove away from Jim's office. Then getting to hear "mama, mama" the rest of the way home. Of course, a "Bob" was thrown in here and there in an effort to not leave Bandit out.
• Receiving a "thinking of you email" from my friend Polly as well as a nice long email from my friend Julie. I love getting emails!
• Munching on an Autumn treat from Suz - a mixture of candy corn and peanuts. Who knew that together they would taste just like a Payday! Yum, I'm addicted.
• A nice evening meal with my sweet JD plus chocolate chip cookies and milk for dessert.
• To top it all off, it was a pleasant Fall day, not too cool, not too windy. The mountains looked huge to the west, and the changing leaves were colorful and vivid.

It was a good day.
