Dear Friends & Family,

Greetings from Canada! We arrived in Olds, Alberta on the 2nd of June.  God paved the way before us, and we are doing great.  We have found a duplex to rent and will be moving in on the 1st of July.  With the exception of the Canadian accents, scenery, and weather, we have noted many similarities between Alberta and Texas.  The people are generally very nice and have done a great job of welcoming us to Canada.

Our time at the GoodSeed office has been encouraging.  There is much to do and many ministry opportunities that lie ahead.  I (Leslie) have been learning the ropes in the area of administration.  I have also been working to facilitate the moves of future interns and volunteers to the Canadian office.  Jim is working on various projects.  His main focus right now is to work with Andrew Cross (John and Janice's son who is our age) to adapt The Stranger book into a camp curriculum for junior high students.  We will be teaching at a summer camp in Alberta the second week in July.  A majority of the campers will be from un-churched backgrounds.   We will have several hours a day for a week to share the Bible's message chronologically, focusing on the main theme of salvation.  Please pray for wisdom and understanding for Jim and Andrew as they work on preparing the camp curriculum.  Please pray as well that the hearts and minds of those kids attending will be open to God's love, truth, and glory.

Thank you for your prayers, support, and encouragement!  God has provided for us in every imaginable way, and we know that He will continue to do so according to His will.  We are very grateful.
