Look at these two ~ today they went roller skating for the first time!

I had their wheels tightened

which basically took most of the roll out of their rolling.

It was more like they were marching around in skates,

but it was pretty ideal for preschoolers.

Ayden kept saying,"I can't wait! I can't wait! I can't wait!"

They were pretty pumped up right until it was time to head out onto the rink.

Then they both froze up and started acting timid.

It was a Pixie Class for 2-6 yr olds so they had to head out alone and be brave!

Thankfully their friend Ashlyn was able to show them the ropes.

She was a hoot out there, dancing and marching to the music!

Though AJ kept saying, "I can't skate Mom!" afterward he declared, "I wanna do that again sometime!"

Addie spent most of lunchtime begging to go for Family Skate Night.

I think she wants to get out there and boogie with her Daddio!

She seems to think that she can get her PaPa into some skates too! We'll see about that.
