...decided to tackle some DIY projects!

"We" being Addison & I ==> the girls.

The boys watched football and made jalapeno poppers & ribs on the grill. Yay!

What a fun Saturday!

First I gave Addie a new 'do using a sock bun trick I came across online.

We went for the "messy" look ~ cute, huh?

Then I made myself a scarf from an old t-shirt that I was ready to toss.

Or at least I hope it was time to toss it ~ I couldn't exactly try it on while 7 months pregnant.

Either way, I say it was a worthwhile sacrifice. The scarf turned out lovely!

Later in the day Addie & I made her some new hair-clips and headbands.

We didn't use a tutorial for this one; we just busted out the glue gun and tried to be creative.

I thought the headbands turned out especially cute.

Can a little girl ever have enough hair accessories? Addie doesn't think so!
